Quiet and secluded location in a beautiful setting. The apartments have been renovated but retain their vintage style and furnishings. The pool is truly lovely, and the gardens are well-kept.

Quiet and secluded location in a beautiful setting. The apartments have been renovated but retain their vintage style and furnishings. The pool is truly lovely, and the gardens are well-kept.

]]> Villa Ponente private pool villa for 6 in traditional Tuscan-style with garden and amazing infinity view to the Valley Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno.
Located on the eastern hill of Cortona in a charming area at 352 m. Just 1,500 meters from historical center of old town. The house is isolated and immersed in the green of the olive groves that extend as far as the eye can see but still close to the town, whose main points of interest, restaurants, supermarkets, important touristic places, shops and services are very close and sunny until late afternoon.

Villa Ponente surrounded by the Tuscan countryside was completely rebuilt by using reclaimed materials from the demolition of an old house that was abandoned about two centuries ago.
The Villa was erased from the city maps about a hundred years ago, but with love and stubbornness the current owners of Villa gave it new life and made those dream come true: modern construction techniques and the charm of ancient Tuscan houses come together perfectly to create a holiday unique.

Walking along the road to Cortona you can enjoy the view of splendid castles and historic homes that belonged to important families who have made our land so unique and renowned throughout the world. And how is beautiful nature in this places it is words less, you should see.

On the ground floor there is the kitchen, a large dining room like those found in ancient traditional houses, and a welcoming and comfortable living room embellished with a beautiful stone fireplace.

On this floor there is also a bedroom, a bathroom and another room, designed to accommodate disabled people or people with mobility difficulties who cannot climb stairs but wish to enjoy our cordial hospitality. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with private bathrooms, finely furnished with Tuscan-style furniture and furnishings. Simple, pure, very cozy atmosphere gives you really warm feelings and opportunity to relax and enjoy. This is one of the most requested Accommodations on our site.

Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, with a pool, privacy...it has it all...breakfasts, lunches, and dinners on the beautiful panoramic terrace, with a large oak tree offering just the right amount of shade, just steps from the pool and garden where you can sunbathe, with—I can't stress enough—a priceless view.
Villa Ponente is about ten minutes from the historic center of Cortona and nearby Umbria, which, with Lake Trasimeno, although not at its highest water level, offers landscapes, art, and traditional cuisine. In short, a strategic location that, thanks to Sauro and his family, offers an opportunity not to be missed!
